David Seidman’s background is in characterization of materials on an atomic scale using atom probe tomography (APT), which provides three dimensional information of materials for all elements in the periodic table. Plus it can measure concentration as small as seven to ten atomic parts per million. This instrument is extremely valuable for studying the chemistry of the many interfaces that exist in transmons.
