Sunil Ghimire is a Ph.D. student in the Ruslan Prozorov Group at Iowa State University and Ames National Laboratory. His research is focused on using different characterization techniques to understand magnetism and superconductivity in quantum materials. He performs measurement utilizing rf-techniques with the frequency of MHz at the mK temperature range and high magnetic fields. His role in SQMS is characterization of Nb SRF cavities, Nb films, trasmon qubit using tunnel diode resonator (TDR) and microscopy techniques like magneto-optics.
