Thrust: Science
Hikaru Ueki studied microscopic theory of the Hall effect and vortex-core charging in type-II superconductors and finished a Ph.D. at Hokkaido University. Now he is working on calculations of the frequency shift and quality factor of the Nb SRF cavity and the sensitivity of this SRF cavity to the signal of axions, which are dark matter candidates.
