Nicholas Bornman studied free-space quantum photonics during his Ph.D. and is now transitioning to quantum computing. His current role is to straddle the theoretical/experimental divide in the SQMS Center and try to bridge that gap by working with both the experimental hardware while contributing to the algorithms thrust.
